Preston Scott

    In the early hours of August 2nd, our friend and brother, Preston Scott, was called home by our Lord. Serving many years on our Finance Council, alongside his wife, Pat, Preston always thought strategically, held the long-term health of our church as his focus and never failed to bring his wit and humor to most interactions. He was known to read a few newspapers daily, keeping abreast of sports scores and current events. If you needed a good restaurant recommendation or advice on most anything, Preston was always happy to share his thoughts and suggestions. Most important, when speaking of Preston you always think of his other half, Pat. They were dedicated to one another in the truest and most sincere way, a living example of how the Lord calls us to be. 

We will truly miss you, Preston, your kind demeanor, welcoming smile and sharp wit. You left an indelible mark on all those you encountered. Rest in peace, our brother.
