Minimal-Stair home needed
Yesterday we received a lodging referral from a former host regarding the lodging need of her very close friend, T.G.
The patient is T.G.'s 74-year-old mother S.G. who has just undergone surgery at HUP to remove a large brain tumor. Next week, S.G. will be discharged and then begin chemo and radiation through July to treat a second tumor. In need of lodging are T.G., S.G. and their 3-year-old son/grandson. They are from about 2-hours away in Delaware and all have received the most up-to-date covid vaccinations.
Minimal stair lodging is needed due to S.G.'s medical condition, as she cannot see well enough to manage stairs. We are looking ideally for Center City lodging because during the day, the boy will be at a Bright Horizons day-care center in the city. As there are Bright Horizon centers throughout the area, however, lodging at a suburban location could work as well.
They are a most loving, caring family and it would be wonderful if lodging could be provided for them. Anyone who may be interested in offering lodging at any time starting Wednesday 5/22 through July is invited to contact us ASAP.
