Postponement of Father Emmons’
Retirement Celebration
Dear parishioners,
We wish to inform you of a change regarding the upcoming Retirement
Celebration for Father Emmons. As he was returning from his vacation,
during his last stop -- Paris, France -- he became ill and is currently in a
hospital in Paris. The doctors are still running tests, and at this time, it is
unclear when he will be discharged.
When he called on Tuesday July 22nd, Father Emmons asked that we reschedule the celebration until after his return. Please be assured that Father Emmons’ family and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia are closely monitoring his condition and working together to ensure he receives the best possible care and support during this time.
We look forward to celebrating together soon and will share more details as they become available. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you keep Father Emmons in your prayers. Thank you for your understanding, support, and patience during this time.
