This year’s Season of Creation is from September 1 to October 5. Catholic Climate Covenant has chosen the theme of Peace with Creation.
The Social Justice Committee has planned a celebration of the season at Holy Cross on September 7 at the 9:00 and 11:00 Masses. You will have the option to begin outside at the front of the church with a prayer, song, and a moment of reflection.
As you process inside, paper doves will be distributed for you to write an intention for peace. Pencils will be provided in the pews. Your intentions may be placed in a special collection basket that will be provided. These intentions will be placed on the altar for the duration of the season.
