Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Cross Parish,
As we step into this New Year together, we do so with grateful hearts for all that has been and with deep trust in God’s loving care for all that lies ahead. Each new year is a sacred gift, an invitation to begin again, strengthened by faith, hope, and love.
In today’s First Reading, the Lord gives Moses these words of blessing for His people:
“The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord let His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace.”
This beautiful blessing reminds us that we never walk alone. God goes before us, watches over us, and shines His loving presence upon us each day. In moments of joy and in times of challenge, may we be confident that the Lord’s face is turned toward us with mercy, compassion, and peace.
As a parish family, may this New Year deepen our love for God and for one another. May our homes be places of faith and kindness, our parish a beacon of welcome and hope, and our lives a witness to Christ’s love in the world.
On behalf of Holy Cross Parish, I extend heartfelt thanks for your prayers, your faithfulness, and your support. May the year ahead be filled with God’s grace, renewed strength, and abundant blessings.
May the Lord bless you and keep you throughout this New Year, and may He grant you His peace. Amen.
