Blessing of Throats – St. Blaise

For pastoral reasons, the Blessing of the Throats in honor of St. Blaise, bishop and martyr, will now be offered this weekend, at all masses, so that the faithful may more easily participate, even though the feast day falls on Tuesday, February 3. 

The blessing will be given by the priests present immediately after mass according to the Church’s rites. We invite all to take part and ask God’s protection from illnesses of the throat and all sickness through the intercession of St. Blaise.
