Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Cross,
Christ is Risen! Alleluia!
With hearts full of gratitude and joy, I extend to you all a blessed and peaceful Easter. As we celebrate the victory of Christ over sin and death, we are reminded of the words of Scripture: “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad” (Psalm 118:24). Truly, this is a day of new life, hope, and renewal for each of us.
In a special way, I thank you for your love and fidelity to our parish, for your sacrifices, your generosity, and your unwavering support. Like the early Christian community, you continue to be a living witness of faith, hope, and charity. As St. Paul reminds us, “I give thanks to my God always for you” (1 Corinthians 1:4). Your commitment keeps the light of Christ shining brightly here at Holy Cross.
May the Risen Lord, who conquered the grave, bless you and your families abundantly. May He strengthen you in times of trial, fill your hearts with peace, and renew your faith each day. And may we continue, together, to proclaim with our lives that Christ is alive among us.
Easter Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who through His Resurrection has given us new life. Bless all the parishioners and friends of Holy Cross. Reward their generosity, their sacrifices, and their faithfulness. Fill their homes with peace, their hearts with joy, and their lives with the light of the Risen Christ. May we always be a people of hope, living in gratitude as Your Word reminds us: “Give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). We entrust our parish family to Your loving care, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
And we offer our prayers for peace in Ukraine, Palestine, Isreal, Iran, Nigeria, Haiti, Sudan, and Congo, that the Risen Christ may bring healing, justice, and lasting peace to all.
Happy Easter! Alleluia!
Fr. Kevin
