Mothers’ Day Ribbons of Remembrance
Say a prayer and celebrate the women who have touched your lives by writing their names on a ribbon and placing it on the Tree of Life in the Sanctuary. Ladies Guild members will be offering red, pink, and white ribbons in exchange for a suggested donation of $2 after mass the first 2 weeks of May 2026 — a small and beautiful way to honor the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, and dear friends who have shaped who we are. Every ribbon placed on the Tree of Life is a visible reminder of the love we carry and the grace we share with one another.
All donations benefit Holy Cross.
EcoPhilly's 5th Annual Summit
May 9th
Villanova University
The theme for this year's Summit is From Hope to Action. We borrowed the theme from our friends at the Laudato Si' Movement, who adopted it for Laudato Si' Week (May 17 - 24). We are also happy to present our Keynote speaker, Joshua van Cleef, who is currently leading the Catholic Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky to net-zero emissions by 2030. The Summit will feature engaging breakouts, a Youth Art Contest, exhibits from local sustainability organizations, and musical selections from the CLEAR Project!
We hope to see you on May 9th as we turn ecological hope into action in the Catholic Church of Philadelphia!
Your friends in creation care,
The EcoPhilly Team
P.S. Soon after you register, you will receive a confirmation email from our Board Secretary, JoAnne Higgins (joannehigg115@gmail.com).
