Drumroll please....
In honor of the Assumption of Mary August 15th and the start of our first parish wide prayer challenge on Hallow, we selected 15 random winners out of those who already signed up for Hallow and joined our parish page.
Congratulations to our winners posted below! Keep an eye on your inbox for directions on how to access your premium subscription this week :)
It has been encouraging to see parishioners post prayer requests, pray for one another, and explore the prayer resources on our parish page.
We will be drawing 10 more winners at our parish picnic on September 13th after the 11 AM Mass. See the flyer below for more information! Please invite your family, friends and neighbors to join with our community at our picnic and on Hallow!
Our first parish wide prayer challenge- "From Sinner to Saint, Saint Michael's Lent" has begun!
During this Jubilee Year of Saint Francis of Assisi, we are blessed to have Father Kevin installed as the official pastor of Holy Cross on his feast day, October 4th!
In preparation, we are asking all members of our parish to come together in prayer by joining our FREE parish page on Hallow and dedicating a few minutes each day to God and each other in prayer.
Links and directions to join Hallow and sign up for the first prayer challenge are below !
What is Saint Michal's Lent?
St. Michael’s Lent is a 40-day period of prayer and penance that begins on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15) and ends on the feast of the Holy Archangels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel and St. Raphael (September 29). This time of devotion is an opportunity for the faithful to renew their faith and grow in union with God.
